Problem Solvers
Problem Solvers at Laindon Park have a very important job. Problem solvers are pupils elected by their peers who can help the children solve minor issues or disagreements. During a whole school Assembly, at the beginning of the year, we discussed and identified the skills which would be needed for a good Problem Solver to be effective.
Following this, children self-nominated themselves and class vote took place to elect 2 Problem Solvers per year group. Skills needed:
• Good listener
• Patient
• Good role model
• Impartial
• Determined Nominations: 99 children put their names forward for election.
Problem Solvers elected by their peers: Willow, Hannah, Ivie, Bobby, Oliver, Holly, Maisie, Jayden, Lenny, Lilly, Sophie and Freddie.
