Governors

Mrs M Larkin - Chair of GovernorsMrs M Larkin - Chair of Governors.

I have been involved with the school for over 20 years, with my own grandchildren having attended Laindon Park.  I have seen the school develop to its current position and have loved the opportunity  to be part of it.  The school is a stable and happy place with dedicated staff who strive for the best from all our children.  The Governing Body continues to act in its role of 'critical friend' to support the school life and get the best results from all our children to prepare them for the life in secondary school and beyond.

Mr J Henry - Vice Chair of Governors.

My name is Jeff Henry.  I've been involved with Laindon Park since December 2016 and have lived in the area for 32 years.  I am the local County Councillor and support Laindon Park Primary School & Nursery because primary education is the best place to start improve communities.  Laindon Park has a long history in the community and it's reputation is the result of hard work and is much deserved.  I am proud to be part of it.

Mr J Bell

I am very pleased to be a member of the Laindon Park Primary School & Nursery Governing Body.  I have worked within education for 19 years and am currently Head of School at a large junior school in London.  As a Governor, I will support the school to set ambitious targets for pupil achievement; and encourage a whole school ethos where pupils can thrive in a safe and nurturing environment best preparing them for the next steps of their journey, both in life and education.

Mr A Paul

I have been a part of the Governing Body since June 2017.  My priority is to ensure that we create an environment for children where they can achieve their full potential during their crucial school years.  My background is in Consultancy and Financial Services and graduated from London School of Economics.  I look forward to providing my expertise while supporting the vision of the school.

Cllr Kerry Smith

With my experience as a councillor I have a keen interest in the development and improvement of the local community and education is at the heart of that.  The children are the future of our community and as a Governor I can support this.

 Mrs Z Jones
